Biography

Rebecca Brashler is an Assistant Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Feinberg School of Medicine.  She holds a secondary appointment in the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Progam and is a clinical educator at the Donnelley Family Disability Ethics Program at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago.  Ms. Brashler is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Chicago's School of Social Service Administration.

Rebecca is a social worker and her clinical focus has been on family functioning following catastrophic injury and illness with a particular interest in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.  She also coordinates the resource center at the Donnelley Family Disability Ethics Program which houses books, videos and journals related to disability ethics.
